29th October 2018: the buoy has been thrown in the sea because of an exceptional storm

An exceptional storm hit most of the cost of Liguria, destroying several harbours. The WHALESAFE buoy was on the main pier of the harbour of Savona-Vado, waiting to be replaced after the repair, and it has been thrown in the sea and it sank.
